Opening Rajshahi Flights

NOVOAIR, the premium and largest private airline of Bangladesh started flights in Dhaka-Rajshahi‬-Dhaka route. The first flight took off from Dhaka on 01 April 2016, Friday morning. Managing Director of NOVOAIR, Mr. Mofizur Rahman along with other officials greeted the passengers of the maiden flight with flowers.

After landing in Rajshahi, passengers were warmly received at Shah Makhdum Airport. An opening ceremony was arranged at the airport on this occasion. State minister – Ministry of ICT, Mr. Zunaid Ahmed Palak, MP, Fazle Hossain Badshah MP, Mofizur Rahman MD – NOVOAIR, Formar captain of Bangladesh National cricket team Khaled Mashud Pilot, AKM Mahfuzul Alam, Manager Marketing & sales – NOVOAIR, Airport Manager of Shah Makhdum Airport Setafur Rahman, officials from different travel agencies and other airlines were present at the ceremony.

NOVOAIR informed that every Monday, Wednesday and Friday of the week flights will be operated by ATR 72-500 aircraft. Lowest fare for this route is BDT 3200. A “Buy 1 Ticket Get 1 Free” offer is going on in the first month of operation for celebrating the inauguration of flights.

Happy Inauguration of ATR Fleet of NOVOAIR – Press Release

NOVOAIR, the premium and largest private airline of Bangladesh, has added three new ATR 72-500 aircraft in its fleet. The three 68 seater ATR 72-500 aircraft were officially inaugurated by Mr. Rashed Khan Menon MP, Minister of Civil Aviation and Tourism in the conference room of HSIA, Tuesday. Moreover, operation of Saidpur, Barisal and Rajshahi flights were also inaugurated at the event. This inclusion increased NOVOAIR’s aircraft count to 6.

AVM M Sanaul Huq, outgoing Chairman and AVM Ehsanul Gani Chowdhury, newly appointed Chairman of CAAB, high officials of HSIA, EBL and NOVOAIR were present at the occasion.

Daily 2 flights are being operated to Saidpur, said Mr. Mofizur Rahman, MD of NOVOAIR. In addition to that, from 1 April weekly three flights to Rajshahi and from 2 April weekly four flights to Barisal will be operated. With this NOVOAIR has now covered all 7 domestic destinations.

He said, esteemed passengers of Chittagong, Jessore, Cox’s Bazar, Sylhet, Rajshahi and Barisal can now travel across the country by connecting flights touching Dhaka with only 6000 taka. This will benefit not only tourism, but also businesses be expanded – he hoped.

At present, NOVOAIR operates domestic flights from Dhaka to Chittagong, Cox’s Bazar, Jessore, Sylhet and Saidpur and international 3 weekly flights to Yangon. Very soon, regional destinations such as Guwahati, Kolkata and Kathmandu will be connected into NOVOAIR network
