An Aviation Safety Seminar titled “Safety Assurance: Grassroot Approach” was organized by NOVOAIR on 20 March, 2018 at Bangladesh Airlines Training Center (BATC) auditorium. The same was previously scheduled to be held on 10 February, 2018. NOVOAIR regularly arranges safety meeting events in every 3 months to ensure highest level of safety.
Chairman of NOVOAIR, Mr. Fayzur Rahman Badal MP said in his inaugural speech that every member of the management is aware of safety needs and to ensure 100 percent safety the management is ready to provide any kind of support. He encouraged employees to bring safety related issues to his attention and he assures that to ensure safety concerned departments will never face any kind financial constraints.
The event was anchored by the Chief of Safety of NOVOAIR, Captain Ashfaq-ur-Rahman Khan. In the seminar, all the department heads of NOVOAIR presented their ongoing activities and plans to ensure flight safety.
The meeting was attended by Civil Aviation high officials include; Member – Operation and Planning Air Commodore Mohammad Mostafizur Rahman GUP,ndc,psc; Director – (Flight Safety and Regulations) Wing Commander Chowdhury Mohammad Ziaul Kabir, GD (P); Principal Operations Inspector – Mr. Fariduzzaman were present at the program. Everyone has praised NOVOAIR for establishing the unique safety culture throughout the organization.
Mr. Mofizur Rahman, Managing Director of NOVOAIR, described the overall measures to ensure the flight safety during his concluding speech.
Among others, Mr. Feroz Alam, Deputy Managing Director of NOVOAIR, Mr. Arshad Jamal, Chief Financial Officer and Senior Level Officials of Civil Aviation Authority and representative from all the departments of NOVOAIR were present.
